Resumo: A framework holds a set of class that provides a generic infrastructure to solutions a set of problems. In turn, a conceptual framework is specific to the phase of conceptual data modeling and the product generated by it is not executable software, but a data conceptual schema. Frameworks are concerned about issues involving general situations, extensibility, portability and reuse of classes across domains and applications. Several authors have developed conceptual frameworks to important areas that involve multiple actors and various tasks in a decision-making process. The educational field has great importance for vocational training and the expansion of scientific knowledge. However, for the educational area there is a lack of conceptual frameworks that addresses its actors (teacher, student, etc.) and various activities (course planning, classes, jobs, conducting tests, etc.). In the educational domain, looking for information such as profile, preference and ability are important to decision-making support. Therefore, in system traditional modeling these information are not always regarded as “relevant”. On the other hand, context is knowledge that helps identify what is or is not relevant in a given situation, making it an important filtering mechanism to optimize performance and reduce search results. In turn, personalization aims to meet user needs and adapt them according to their preferences. The context of integration with customization can be used to provide relevant information to meet the specific objectives of the user. Thus, the conceptual model description, with generalization and reuse of class in domain education, considering contextual information with personalization, is not found, yet. The aim of this work is to develop a conceptual framework that includes context with personalization to support system designers in the modeling phase of software development. To validate this proposal, three applications of the conceptual framework were made in the education domain. A case study with implementation was developed using scenarios of higher education.
