The purpose of this research is to present an analysis of the motivation influence on the perceived risk and practicing unsafe act by employee in the execution of their activities. Therefore, brings specific objectives: the satisfaction of needs relate to employee motivation; analyze the level of motivation of employees of the company studied, as well as the perception of the employee to the risk situations related to their work activities and the causes of human error generally; relate motivation and risk perception of employees and still relate to employee motivation with the causes of human error. Theoretical research has integrated classical approaches on motivation, as the theory of Maslow's needs, with critical approaches of authors such as Sampaio, associating them with theories about human error the authors as Kletz and Reason, aggregated to the practice of Lafraia, and including related articles. The particular industry located in Polo Industrial de Camaçari, Bahia, and to the achievement of a questionnaire survey was drawn from the theoretical addressed. Defined three constructs, grouping the content propositions: motivation, reliability and causes of human error. The 105 valid responses were treated in the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS), with the correlation analysis between the propositions, using the Pearson correlation coefficient. It was found that there are gaps in employee motivational process, although he claims motivated. However, these gaps do not increase errors in the execution of activities. Employees are aware of the causes of their errors, although not always this perception results in preventive actions. The relationship between motivation and reliability is characterized not by a direct dependence, but the perception of individuals about the factors that influence this relationship, such as internal communication, training and organizational environment. |
