Resumo: | This dissertation is focused on teacher training for the teaching History in Pedagogy Courses offered by Federal Universities from the state of Minas Gerais. The research universe corresponds to nine Education Degree Courses, offered by Federal Institutions of Higher Education: UFMG, UFSJ, UFU, UFJF, UFV, UNIFAL, FACIP / UFU, UFOP and UFVJM. Our question is: How does occur the training teacher education in Pedagogy Courses in order to they act in teaching History? What curriculum components of courses are related to the questions of teaching History? What is the place of teaching History in Pedagogical Projects of Pedagogy from Federal Institutions of Higher Education in the state of Minas Gerais? Are there differences and similarities? How the curriculum frameworks of Pedagogy Courses contribute to prepare teachers in order to teach History? The investigation is located in the field of qualitative approach in education research, using the following sources: public documents, such as: the National Curriculum Guidelines for the Pedagogy courses in Brazil; National Guidelines of basic education teacher training; PPC's - Pedagogical Projects of the Courses, curricula and relevant discipline menus of teaching History. They were also used questionnaires sent via email to former teachers of History and their respective coordinators of Pedagogy Courses. The subjects involved in this investigation were seven university teaching career teachers and seven coordinators of these respective courses. The study showed that the Pedagogical Projects of these courses are in line with the legal guidelines, although the PPC's of these courses and testimony showed us that the History of the teaching of spacetime in these Graduations is restricted and does not allow full and solid training of graduates in order to become enable to teach History in the early years of schooling. Institutional documents of Federal Institutions of Higher Education analyzed treat superficially the disciplines and contents of teaching, which reveal the restricted and introductory approach of teacher training in the area of teaching History. |
