Pictorial-carnival inventories: memory and visuality of the samba schools in the process of creation in painting is a research of a theoretical-practical nature, from which it is sought to understand the participation of individual memory related to the visuality of the parades of the samba schools of the Rio de Janeiro and Uberlândia in the process of creation in Painting. Through the autoethnography, a memorial survey is carried out that shows different levels of personal interaction with the samba schools, which are related to the artistic productions developed from this theme. The research is also dedicated to deepening the understanding about the visuality of schools of samba, considering its historical process of spectacularization, its artificers, and by means of an analysis of its main elements: the fantasy and the carnival allegory. Finally, the investigation of the research is presented, and the studies derived from the artistic works are based on the memorable and carnivalesque data collected, as well as on the languages involved in its preparation, especially the expanded field painting resulting from presence of the object and materiality as pictorial interfaces.
