This paper proposes to study the social changes in the neighborhood and town of Alfonso Pena Sarandi from the transition from public jail urban area to the rural area. From this viewpoint, we analyze a set of measures that eventually transformed the relations of sociability that were rebuilt and reconfigured from Itumbiara urban transformations in the past decade. Thus sought to establish an approach that does not isolate the subject, the main actors of this process, but have sought to show how, in the relationship maintained with these social groups, it was possible to revise interests, values, and thus demonstrate how to live in the city from specific social relations. In this respect the movement of the subject cooperates for the city to be built and thus is constituted. I searched through the sources, newspapers, pictures, discuss how the design of consolidated retirement from public chain of urban space, and especially as the village of Sarandi absorbed the idea and the way it was implemented. The relevance of the suggested texts for reading and studying about the categories that confer legitimacy on social issues, and presenting themselves as central theme of understanding of the goals assigned to this work will be summarized.
