Resumo: | This research presents a set of critical analysis about the novel entitled O amor dos homens avulsos by the Brazilian writer Victor Heringer which focuses on tenderness and violence made evident intersectionally. The approach that outlines this work is called poetic criticism, presented on the first chapter. We have adopted the concept of literary scene as a procedure for the analysis of some selected narrative sequences discussed in chapter two. The third and last chapter is dedicated to the analysis of the five chosen scenes. In each of the analysis we have evidence that tenderness is, for the narrator, not only a topic in the plot but also a way of establishing poetic connection with his fictional project. So, tenderness is perceived, felt and handled in the writer’s narrative as a whole, even in parts in which the practice of violence is exposed. Therefore, this study discusses the poetic exercise in Victor Heringer’s literary work of the above-mentioned novel. |
