Resumo: Wall of palpitations is a manifesto in order to reflect the barriers that arise daily in the lives of women in the academic environment due to motherhood. Due to the complexity of the theme of unplanned pregnancy, we sought, based on the methodological narrative in this research, to understand its trajectories in academia. These women, identified in the research as Marias, were notified by the social networks about the research and were willing to send reports about their academic trajectory. The narrative of each illustrates the experiences in this environment as mothers, as well as their greatest difficulties during the journey to stay in the course. Prejudice and discrimination against motherhood by teachers and classmates was also a crucial point of the research. The potential of these women's testimonials allowed reflections on the meeting of Leontiev and Angela Davis. In addition, the reports culminated in the composition of a Manifest Letter, with narratives of me and each of the Marys.
