Resumo: Specialized Social Assistance Reference Centers (CREAS) have been a challenging field of work for many psychologists. This performance has an important social role and there are many adversities, however this reality has been little investigated. Thus, the main objective of this research was to verify the impact of the conditions for creativity on Well-being at Work (BET) of psychologists who work at CREAS in the State of Minas Gerais. The convenience sample consisted of 145 workers, mostly women (n = 125), with a graduate degree (n = 102) and a statutory link (n = 74). For both constructs, multidimensional scales were selected, with evidence of validity and a five-point Likert response scale. The BET measure includes Positive Affection, Negative Affection and Personal and Professional Achievement, the other measure encompasses six Favorable Conditions and three Unfavorable Conditions for Creativity at Work. Among the BET dimensions, the highest average was Personal and Professional Achievement (M = 3.47; SD = 0.65). The most favorable dimension to creativity was Challenging Activities (M = 3.50; SD = 0.68), and the unfavorable condition with the highest average was Excess of Services and Shortage of Time (M = 3.51; SD = 0.85). The Standard Multiple Regression Analysis showed that the Conditions for Creativity at Work contribute significantly to the three dimensions of BET, with 56% of the variance of Personal and Professional Achievement, 43% of Positive Affections and 29% of Negative Affections. The results also show that the Challenging Activities dimension contributes to both Personal and Professional Achievement (β = 0.66; p = 0.01) and Positive Affections (β = 0.34; p = 0.01). Therefore, it is necessary for managers to promote a context conducive to creativity, thus contributing to the well-being of workers.
