Resumo: This study addresses reflections from the creative process in developing a visual poetic whose theme is art and urban space. The methodology used to address the object of study took place from a previous contact with the research field. The operations were designed from artistic research poetics of a specific fragment of the city of Uberlândia (MG) - the Neighborhood Morumbi, where focussed on bus stops as possibles places of subjectivity and then moved on to other places in the city through public transportation lines. The artistic actions taken during the search encompassed the political discussion of public spaces and intermediates, represented by bus stops, and questioned the effectiveness of public transportation service in town. Two actions did part of the artistic research Jogo da Memória: qual é o ponto? e Sardinha In Trânsito and, through them, sought to establish a connection between art and life by joining the audience in their contexts of implementation as well, drawing attention to fragments of the city, everyday places, in wich the experience of experiencing the city in comparison with the city\'s image, created by the official discourse and the culture of the spectacle, happens. The operations involved the realization of artistic actions and discussions on issues related to negotiations that underlie artistic practices in the context of the city.
