Resumo: | The elastic modulus is an important property for professionals involved in the construction industry, since its value is crucial to the slenderness of the structures produced, beyond the control of deformations. The impossibility of obtaining a higher value of specific modulus can result in economic loss since it may lead to the need for larger structural elements in order to obtain the prescription arrows in Brazilian standard, resulting in higher implementation costs and loss of usable area in architectural design. Thus, this paper aims based on the geological map of Triangulo Mineiro, evaluate three distinct classes of concrete (C20, C30 and C40), produced with two morphological types of rocks, basalt and dolomite. The values of elastic modulus obtained were compared with each other and with the various formulations proposed in current regulations in Brazil and abroad, in order to assess the validity of its application in concrete produced with rocks. Compressive strength and elastic modulus tests for each concrete class and its respective aggregate were made. For this, were molded 459 cylindrical specimens of 10 cm x 20 cm with 51 specimens by concrete mix: 3 specimens for compressive strength, 6 specimens for elastic modulus, 3 specimens for tensile strength by diametral compression by age, and the last 3 specimens were tested to determine the Poisson's ratio at 56 days. These groups were evaluated interactions between parameters (fck, age and type of rock) and their influences on the elastic modulus. |
