Resumo: The international norms and courts contributed for the reformulation of international politics after the Second World War. With the advent of several international courts focused on monitoring international treaties on various issues, along with the phenomenon of globalization, there is the process of judicial globalization that also affects the judicial spheres. The expansion of the number and diversity of performances of judicial bodies can be seen in judicial diplomacy movements. In the Brazilian context, the international projection of the judicial bodies is tied to the ideas of law redemocratization and constitutionalization. The Federal Constitution of 1988, by reshaping the Federal Supreme Court, conferring on it broad powers, paved the way for the judicialization of politics, which led the Court to occupy a space of domestic prominence. Although the Federal Constitution hasn't amplified the Supreme Court's powers regarding its possibility of establishing a direct relationship with the outer, this research verifies that this Court counts on international action, following an world trend of expanding the judicial powers beyond national borders.
