Resumo: | With this document, I seek to enter the time that surrounds the ancestry present in Joaquim Ribeiro's Aruanda dramaturgy, in view of the poetics that I glimpse in the work, I propose a reflective reading for the aspects of the black body. Here I want to establish a dialogue based on the work Aruanda, to revisit the ideas of what Abdias Nascimento calls Quilombismo. In this way, I understand the work Aruanda as a space for reflection, which revisits the black body as a singular and unique idea of community, which transgresses society in order to tear the veil that covers us over the crossroads of life. A black body does not walk alone, it is always accompanied by its ancestry that strengthens it, being a body that molds itself on the idea and strength of the quilombo. The work Aruanda proposes a unique moment of encounter between Exu and scenic art, providing the record of a work that puts African and Afro-Brazilian culture in focus. The work Aruanda marks the beginning of the materialization of what Abdias Nascimento will call Quilombismo. Thus, I dialogue with my writing, entirely with black-skinned researchers and scholars, in order to make this document a space of quimbamento. I do not deny in any way the importance of Eurocentric texts written by white authors, since they contribute to the understanding of society as a whole. In view of this, this document is an act of resistance from the black ancestral time, which kept black habits and customs alive through orality and their daily struggles. Here, a document of poetic production is present, seeking to establish a humanly sensitive writing, having aesthetics as a plan of human value in this document and not as a slogan of beauty. The following pages are born, in view of the understanding of aesthetics, as a way of moral systematization of human behavior, through Ubuntu ethics and a body that inhabits itself. I do not intend to conclude this document, I launch all the ideas put here about ancestral time, all the text present in these pages, is just a continuation of a path that does not start here and will not end in the following pages either. This document is a conglomerate of ideas, which permeates mine and the body of every black person, who sets out in search of their ancestry and gives nuances that surround this body.
