Resumo: More than a billion people around the world have some form of disability and virtually all of us will experience limitations at some point in our lives. There are several causes of disabilities, whether congenital, acquired or hereditary. The Specialized Rehabilitation Center (CERIII) is one of the Specialized Rehabilitation Outpatient Care points that performs diagnosis, treatment, concession, adaptation andmaintenance of assistive technology, becoming a reference for the Health Care Network in the Territory. Care for people with disabilities should be considered in Health Care Networks (RAS) according to the needs of the population. Objectives: to understand the profile of adult users of neurological rehabilitation in the specialized service. Methodology: this is a retrospective quantitative research with data from 2019, where questionnaires applied to the WHODAS Instrument (WHO Disability Assessment Schedule 2.0) were analyzed. The WHODAS is a tool for measuring functionality and disability according to the main domains of life: cognition, mobility, self-care, interpersonal relationships, life activities and social participation. Scoring the questionnaire produces a score ranging from 0 to 100 for each domain. 208 questionnaires tabulated in a spreadsheet containing user code, date of birth, gender, level of education, work activity, diagnosis, time of onset and values for each domain were analyzed. Results: It was found that 127 (61.1%) of the users interviewed were men and 81 users (38.9%) were women, with a predominance of diagnoses of CVA (Cerebral Vascular Accident) affecting 110 users, followed by TBI (Curious Brain Injury) with 17 users and, later, Parkinson's disease, with 13 cases in this sample. The worst performing domain was Orientation and Mobility, followed by Self Care, Social Participation, Cognition/Communication and Personal Relationships. Among those interviewed, 30 users reported global difficulties compromising between 0 and 24% of their total capacity; 76 users felt limited from 25% to 49% of their total capacity and 78 reported greater difficulties, compromising 50% to 75% of their total capacity. It was found that 24 users had extreme difficulty or even the impossibility of carrying out any day-to-day activities (75% to 100% limitations in carrying out activities). Conclusion: the measurement of functionality and disability can provide information about the needs of users related to care and the level of attention they need. Individuals with neurological sequelae have complex demands which require the work of a multidisciplinary team with an interdisciplinary approach. The WHODAS 2.0 questionnaire can contribute to the identification of needs, establishing priorities for the rehabilitation process.
