Thus, the present study aims to understand the relationship between safety cultures in health professionals, assistants, nursing technicians and nurses at the Hospital de Clínicas of the Federal University of Uberlândia, and the teams of the Family Health Strategy (ESF) . The study carried out addressed the methodology of a cross-sectional, exploratory study with a quantitative approach. The study was carried out at the Hospital de Clínicas of the Federal University of Uberlândia (HCU-UFU) and with the Primary Health Care APS-SMS teams in the same municipality. For data collection, a script of questions prepared by the researchers and the Safety Attitudes Questionnaire - Short Form 2006 were used. 475 nursing professionals were interviewed, of which 311 were nursing technicians and 159 were nurses, 89% of whom were predominantly female . Regarding the length of service, HC-UFU has older employees with an average of 17 years of experience, in contrast to 10 years on average for APS-SMS professionals. When comparing the HCU-UFU and the APS-SMS, it is observed that HCU employees are satisfied at work, with p 0.0419, a result that may be related to their being permanent employees, under the statutory regime, with a lower workload of work (39 hours per week on average), to the detriment of 61 hours for APS-SMS workers. Regarding the domains correlated to the work climate, safety climate, job satisfaction, unit management and working conditions, there was a significant difference between the domains and professional categories, nursing technician and nurse. This information can support a better management in the control of patient and worker safety, since with the promotion of the mental health of health professionals it is possible to have a safe assistance, and the minimization of the risks and damages caused to the patient. |
