Resumo: This dissertation is devoted to the study of the circulation and transfer of images during the 15th century in Northern Italy. In this period, the production of luxury artistic objects occurred in an intense way due to political and cultural transformations in the court societies. In Milan, three tarot packs were produced within this universe, commissioned by the Visconti and Sforza courts. Thinking about the flow of artifacts and artists favored by commerce, an investigation is proposed on how the figures of the cards were elaborated, looking for compatible iconographic models present in this period. For this, the cards of the packages are analyzed through his biography, proposed by Arjun Appadurai in one of his studies. The objective is to collect a wide range of information pertinent to the analysis of the card figures, such as the author, the relevance and the meaning of the Tarot in the Quattrocento. In this way, the studies are focused on the discussion about the artistic objects of court of Lombardy and their political and social importance in the late-medieval period.
