Resumo: | The Dissertation Presented Aims To Investigate The Formation Of The Working Class In The City Of Sorocaba Between 1890 And 1930. In The Last Decade Of 19th Century This City In The Countryside Of São Paulo Underwent An Intense Economic And Social Changes In Great Measure Related To The Inauguration Of Sorocabana Railroad In July Of 1875, By The Cultivation And Commerce Of Cotton And The Advent Of Important Industries Of Cotton Fabrics At The End Of The 19th Century. Considering This Process, The Research Sought To Investigate Who Were The Industrialists Responsible For These First Textile Factories In Sorocaba And, Especially, Who Were The Workers That Occupied Them. Added To This Initial Concern About The Economic And Social Aspects, Present In The Formation Of The Textile Workers, We Seek To Reconstitute And Understand The Formation Of A Class Identity Through The Periodical Publications That Were Produced And Circulated Among The Workers In This Context, We Also Intended To Examine The Forms Of Workers' Or |
