Resumo: | Organic rice presents an important productive advance, gains commercial spaces and, along with other grains, stands out in the internal and external commercial scenario. Due to the particularities of organic rice cultivation and commercialization, including the production carried out by family farmers, the main objective of this work is to lecture on the topic of organic rice production in the world academic context and to verify the available and accessed organic certification formats. by farmers in Latin America and, in particular, in Brazil. In order to achieve the objective, a theoretical deepening on organic production, types of certification and inclusive value chains was developed. A bibliometric research is carried out in the course of this study, as an exploratory procedure, and then a research on secondary sources was carried out as a way of obtaining possible scenarios for organic certification. The results obtained show the importance of certification for the organic rice market and for the profile of each producer producer, considering the accreditation formats, which encompass this specific profile of organic producer within the spheres of production and according to the possibilities that certification offers in the market Bibliometric analysis on the topic of organic rice at a global level has seen a growth in publications since 2000, with emphasis on international journals with a high impact factor. The greatest institutional highlight was for the University of Florida and for researchers from China and India, especially in the area of soil and agricultural management. As for the certification of organic products in Brazil, in addition to certification by audit, considered the main production certification mechanism, other control mechanisms exercised in Brazil were analyzed, such as participatory certification bodies, which significantly collaborate for the development of family agriculture. organic. It is concluded that different types of existing organic certification meet the specificities of the types of farmers. However, entering the market still presents barriers to be overcome. |
