Resumo: | The present study, developed in the Postgraduate Program in Networked Educational Technologies at UFSM, in the Development of Educational Technologies Research Line, developed and evaluated teaching material that uses Augmented Reality technology for teaching Botany. After carrying out a series of training courses and mini-courses with the theme of this research, it was possible to understand the complexities of the insertion of AR technology in the systematization of knowledge, leading to the development of a product to facilitate the mediation of objects of knowledge related to botany in the context of the Pampa biome. As an educational product, this research resulted in a booklet, an application for mobile devices, and a website. The material features families characteristic of the Pampa biome, Poaceae and Fabaceae, as well as the Rutaceae family, known to students as everyday fruit species, such as orange. 14 three-dimensional models and 14 magnifying glass images were developed. From the development of three-dimensional models to visualization in the educational product are described in detail in the methodology and results. The evaluation of the educational product was carried out using the Expert Panel methodology, which included the participation of 8 biologists with a doctorate in Science and Mathematics Education and one biologist with a PhD in Botany, with questionnaires adapted to the perspectives that address the specific questions of botany and, especially, Augmented Reality. After the Panel of Experts, the educational product was remodeled, considering both botanical morphological issues and those related to the design of the printed part of the educational product. It was concluded that the educational product is of good quality and has the potential to assist basic education teachers in systematizing knowledge and contributing to the learning process on the part of students in the context of botany teaching. |
