Resumo: This project was aimed to identify and analyze the value adding conditions in the productions of the familiar agricultures in the municipality of Panambi – RS. Due to the importance of familiar agricultures in the regional context as a supporter of the socio and economic development, this study pursued to investigate deeply the transformation of the agricultural production through the agro industrialization as boosting of this development. World population grows up every year along to the food demand and agriculture is the responsible to meet this demand. This perspective shows a great opportunity of value adding in agriculture production, resulting in new products, with provenance, increasing family income and avoiding their migration, in addition to develop the region economically. Theoretical input that allowed the analysis of this study was The Theory of Economic Development by Schumpeter. This research was developed through a quantitative exploratory case and the results were obtained by interviews with entities representatives as EMATER/RS, Secretaria da Agricultura Municipal, Cooperatives and other organizations involved with the process and rural classification, as well as farm representatives and agroindustry owners, data analysis was made using NVivo software. In the results of this research is evidenced that the agro industrialization process is important to the city and the region as a whole, due to the fact that the value adding represents a significant percentual in the final amount of the family agriculture production. This study also intended to demonstrate the differences in the municipalities of the same region regarding the understanding and the practicing of actions that generates value adding in the production. It is evident that the determination of some families in adding value is fundamental to the process as well as the support system that the municipal entities dedicate to them.
