Resumo: | This thesis discusses the unfoldings of public evaluation on large scale, particularly the Prova Brasil de Língua Portuguesa, which concerns the possible study plan reformulation of basic education in the schools of São Pedro do Sul municipal network. The research problem emerged from reflections about evaluate public politics of large scale in Brazil. The general objective was to analyze the unfolding of evaluating public politics in large scale, particularly the Prova Brasil de Língua Portuguesa, which concerns the possible reformulation of study plan of São Pedro do Sul municipal education network. In the large-scale evaluations context, there are many discussions about the quality and/or standardization, however in this research it was chosen tofocus on the effectiveness of politic while possible to balizate the plan of study of Portuguese language in the final years of basic education. The methodology of qualitative approach was based on documentary and bibliographic research, utilizing as data collection instruments, individual questionnaires and focal groups. As reference for the documental study, it was considered the legislation related to educational public politics which supports the Prova Brasil. To the theoretical reference, authors who relate to the themes: educational public politics, evaluate politics in large scale, educational management and quality were mentioned. It was observed that external evaluation can contribute to the reformulation of Portuguese language plan of study in the last years of basic education of São Pedro do Sul municipal network, since it provoked discussions about its teaching considering the context in which we are inserted, but based on the educational public policy, generating as a product, a reorganization of study plan of the final years of basic education of Portuguese language discipline. |
