Resumo: Having lived through experiences that generated anxieties and concerns during my training and practice in Special Education, I wanted this work to analyze, through narratives of Special Educators, different sets of knowledge and power used in the process of subjectivity in order to understand how they Special Educators are and how to undertake a self-care in order to relate better with each other and improve their professional practice. I conducted this research using a Foucault reading which used the mechanisms of subjectivity and self-care as key tools to weave this dissertation. Through this work, I realize that we are constituted through relations of power and knowledge, truth games subjectivate us and cause us to act and we relate with others, with the world and ourselves in certain ways. We subjectified through binaries of right/wrong, normal/abnormal, among others that cause us to look at the subjects in certain ways. This work was composed in order to allow some resistance strengthened through self-care as a possibility to think about these games, in which we invariably inserted and, from these plots, can act in other ways about the world, on the other (that can be our disabled students) and especially about ourselves, enabling us to be a free subject and desiring to be under certain conditions.
