Resumo: The scope of this work is to outline the problems that intersect democracy within contemporary capitalism in the light of the rise of (post)-fascism, delimiting the limits and possibilities of democracy in the context of contemporary capitalism in the face of the problem of the production and dissemination of disinformation as a condition of possibility for the escalation of (post)-fascism. Faced with the situation that is emerging, permeated by the distension between the coefficients in place, the question arises as to the limits and possibilities of democracy in the face of the advance of (post)-fascism in the context of contemporary capitalism and the growing production and dissemination of disinformation as a condition of possibility for the rise of this phenomenon. In view of these considerations, there are questions that reveal adversities in multiple facets of democracy. In view of this, what we are trying to answer, according to the possibilities of the research, is what are the limits and possibilities of contemporary democracy in the face of the arrangement between (post)-fascism and disinformation in the midst of contemporary capitalism. The path to be followed in order to try to answer the question posed is structured as follows: first, in the wake of the first chapter, we intend to analyze, based on the confluence between fascism and contemporary capitalism, the resurgence of capital's current business model; then, to demonstrate, based on the entrepreneurial arrangement between fascism and contemporary capitalism, the role of disinformation as an expression of the escalation of (post)-fascism; and to make up the second chapter, we intend to understand, based on the scenario presented, the course of disinformation and its unfolding in the form of a paradigm of the current business model of capital, as well as its effects on the Brazilian democratic fabric, as well as investigating how democracy is established in the face of (post)-fascism, and the limits and possibilities of this political-democratic lexicon under the framework of contemporary capitalism. The methodology employed is based on the analytical theoretical framework of historical materialism from Antonio Negri's perspective. In conclusion, there is a need for democratic updating based on the incorporation of movements that are commonly excluded from democratic boundaries, in order to, if not change the regime, foster the creation of new articulations and engagements in the struggle.
