Formação profissional e mercado de trabalho do serviço social : uma análise dos egressos da EaD em Paulo Afonso-BA

Resumo: This dissertation is under investigation vocational training and labor market of graduates social workers of distance education (DE). Thus, the aim of this study is to present an overview of professional training and the labor market for graduates of distance education social workers in Paulo Afonso-BA, based on an analysis of historical aspects and impacts of the reform of higher education to social work. Specifically, it sought to list-historical aspects of vocational training and labor market constitution of the Brazilian Social Service; study the training of social work distance education mode in the light of the reform of higher education; analyze the process of training of higher education institutions (HEIs) that offer the course in Social Work in the form of distance education in Paulo Afonso-BA, or recognized in the recognition process by the MEC; and check the profile of the graduates of the Professional Social Work in EaD in Paulo Afonso-BA, graduating between 2010 and 2013, and their insertion in the labor market. This is a descriptive research, characterized as a case study, outlined by literature and empirical research, analysis of which deals with quantitative and qualitative aspects. The research base corresponds to 49 graduates of distance education social workers between 2010 and 2013 HEIs installed in Paulo Afonso-BA, with active registration with the Regional Council of Social Service (CRESS) 5th-Bahia region. The sample is intentional non-probabilistic and amounts to 20% of the universe, ie 10 professionals. Among the results, we highlight the overexpansion of the offer of the course of Social Service in DE; embrittlement in the educational process; and precarious insertion and professional practice.
