Resumo: | In this work we developed a game prototype that is intended to be used in an educational way, having Behavior Analysis (CA) as psychological theory and interactive design as a methodology for creating games. The objective of this research was to evaluate the efficiency of this digital educational game prototype for teaching the behavior of "distinguishing true from false learning objectives". Five higher education professors from a private university, from different academic areas, participated in this research. The game prototype was developed in Excel software. This allowed data to be automatically recorded throughout each application of the prototype and analyzed to show the extent to which teachers learned to distinguish between true and false learning objectives. We found that the participants scored an average of 39.99% in the pre-test and 51.66% in the post-test. This 11.66% improvement between these tests, pre and post, suggests that the game prototype may have contributed to the learning of the behavior of distinguishing true from false learning objectives. Feedback from participants pointed to the need for better customization of the game. For the first version of the game “Objetivo Certo”, we consider that the results were promising in terms of efficiency, justifying the conduction of new studies in the future with a second prototype of the game improved based on the learnings of this study. |
