Resumo: | This work presents the results of research that investigates the ways in which black women deal with feelings arising from experiences of racist, sexist and classist discrimination experienced in the work environment. The research aimed to describe the discriminatory experiences of black women in work environment, how they emotionally elaborate on such situations of discrimination and prejudice experienced in these relationships, and investigate the role of the collective and aquilombamento in this entire process. To this end, bibliographical research was carried out to present the influence of Brazilian socio-historical formation on the conception of raciality and gender as conceived today by contemporary society, the relationship among gender, race and class, as well as field research with interviews with black women inserted in the market of work. And so, with this dissertation we intend to contribute to the visibility of these women and their pain, to raise social awareness of the limiting structures that are placed on them and for black women to realize the importance of safe welcoming environment to face the discrimination they suffer in their lives. |
