The study deals with the forms of performances of University Student Movement in Pelotas against civil-military dictatorship in Brazil, during the period covering the political process of democratization of the country (1978-1985). We aim to understand the complexity of student activists and issues that emerged on the political agenda of the Movement, contextualized the reopening period, which proved to be the last facet of dictatorial government. The Student Movement along the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship, has manifested itself in different ways for democratic freedoms. Thus, we consider the concepts of memory and identity of the student movement, as if his actions gave the fight scene in the city of Pelotas and internal relations at universities in analysis (Federal University of Pelotas and Catholic University of Pelotas). Through interviews conducted under the methodology of oral history, we seek to verify the reorganization and changes in the student movement achieved before the goal of reaching a new political and social scenario in which obtain the possibility to discuss issues of a different, but linked to ideal of freedom, so suffocated during the dictatorial repression |
