Aiming to meet the demographic, clinical and epidemiological characteristics of population with hypertension (HTN) and diabetes (DM), was established by the Ministry of Health, the Registration and Monitoring System for Hypertensive and Diabetics patients (Hiperdia). In this context, a study of time series, descriptive, based on secondary data from the database of SIS-HIPERDIA and Hospital Information System of the Unified Health System (SIH-SUS) in the city of Foz do Iguacu, with to analyze the process of care delivered in this program and the impact thereof on hospital admissions for diabetes, hypertension and morbidities associated with the presence of the same. The results demonstrated a program with a low coverage of entries and accompaniments and performs so inexpressive clinical assessments recommended for control and prevention of complications of these injuries. We concluded that the Hiperdia in the city of Foz do Iguaçu, needs to review its objectives and strategies and thus improve the work process and quality of services offered to the population. |
