Resumo: The present work aimed to analyze the perception of the internal user, from the University of Paraíba (UFPB), about the implementation of the electronic process, from a socio-technical approach. In light of the socio-technical approach that studies the dimensions: technologies, tasks, structures and peoples this study sought identify the main benefits perceived by users and verify the difficulties encountered with the arrival of the electronic process. Then, we sought to analyze user satisfaction and, lastly, recommendations were made to the institution. The electronic process emerged at UFPB in 2019 with the finality of to modernize your activities and speed up the document process to provide faster answers to user demands. The study, of a quantitative approach, was conducted via online questionnaire sent to 77 People Management Agents (AGPs). Our sample has 65 participants respondents which corresponds to a percentage value of 84,4%. In the data analysis technique, the Excel was used. The results show that the electronic process has brought positive changes to the administrative management of UFPB, but there are still elements (technical and social) that need to be optimized due to the interrelation between them. Generally, the survey confirmed that users are satisfied with the technology.
