Estruturas passivas analíticas em textos jornalísticos : um recurso alternativo de indeterminação do agente verbal

The present work has as its object of study the sentence structures in the passive voice, more specifically the analytical passive structures. We intend to observe the use, as well as the recurrence of these structures, based on the hypothesis that the grammaticalization process through which the synthetic passives have passed is also happening with the analytic passive structures, which assume the function of indetermining the verbal agent. Our objectives involve analyzing and describing the analytic passive constructions, investigating the possible motivations of the speaker to mention or omit the verbal agent and comparing the use of analytic passives with expressed and non-expressed agents, and both with the synthetic passive, in the search to analyze whether the textual genre influences the choices made. The corpus of analysis consists of journalistic texts of the genres, headline, news and opinion article, collected in the newspapers "Diário de Pernambuco" and "Folha de Pernambuco”, in print and digital format, in the January editions to December 2023. Our research is qualitative-based and data-supported quantitative. As a theoretical basis, we are based on authors such as: Givón (1979), Shibatani (1985), Pontes (1986), Indursky (1993), Bechara (2003), Duarte (2003), Bagno (2012), Bybee (2016), Hauy (2015), Vieira and Freire (2016), Sallorenzo (2018), Neves (2018), among others. The analysis carried out in the aforementioned genres confirmed the hypothesis that the voice passive analytic is treading a path that is close to what was taken by the voice synthetic passive, because it acts as another resource of indeterminacy of the agent, which is added o those that GT foresees. We also found that its structure may be reduced and the constituents are able to move through prayer without this impairing the understanding of the that one wishes to inform. The predominant structure, as indicated by the results, is that of analytical passive with an agent not expressed in all genres _ Headline, opinion article and news. The conclusion leads us to believe that the analytical passive voice is in the direction of structures synthetic passives as a resource of indeterminacy of the very productive verbal agent.
