Precarização do trabalho docente: o caso do professor substituto do Centro de Ciências da Saúde da Universidade Federal da Paraíba

Resumo: | The present study analized the process of job precarization at teaching work in the context of Higher Education Institutions, with the substitute teacher of the Health Sciences Center as the main subject. The theoretical was based on studies about flexibilization, job insicurity and intensification of work and its unfolding in the working conditions of substitute teachers in the Federal Institutions of Higher Education. For this purpose, the methodological approach was qualitative guided by the phenomenological method, which is based on lived experiences. The technical research procedure used was the bibliographical and documentary research, and for the data gathering the interview was applied to the subjects (substitute teacher) of the Health Sciences Center. The analysis reports involving these subjects. We also used the analysis of brazilian law number 8745/93 and the notices for eventual data complementation. The results show that the process of job insecurity, flexibilization and intensification of teachers' work is present in the daily life of substitute teachers and has been firmly established by polyvalence, the way of hiring and the intensity of the work rhythm. The precarization stood in the Health Sciences Center by intensifying checked with the involvement of social time and the health of the interviewees. Furthermore, the lack of structural conditions for realization of the teaching activity and the vulnerability of the bond of work are factors that aggravate the process of precarization of labor of the substitute teacher of the Health Sciences Center |
