Resumo: The last decades of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21th century present themselves as a unique moment in Human history. It is possible to explain this movement of great social changes as the result of technological innovations which permeate all knowledge areas. However, It is observed that technological progress, by itself, does not answer the complex social requests. It is necessary to promote human development by education. In the knowledge society, education configures as a central point. This way, it is taken as study object in this dissertation, the educational policy projects for Pedagogy courses in Federal Brazilian Universities in the year 2007, so that it is possible to examine definitions which contribute to create the professional who works in education, these definitions are to pedagogic aplication of information and communication technologies. Therefore, trying to observe the transformation in the contemporaneity, it will be used categories such as culture, teaching development and curriculum to think over the formation of the professional in education, as well as to try to answer how this teacher's education has included the use of information and comunication technologies as pedagogic practice in the current social conjuncture. Taking a glance at the reference theories for the understanding of investigation categories, it is possible to comprehend the study in social, economical, cultural and educational fields, in the context of post modernity. This research done in the light of cultural studies, we propose to contribute with the discussions about teachers' formation, in the frontage of making a multi-cultural curriculum and pedagogic use of information and communication technologies, qualifying the future professional to work completily in the knowledge society.
