This dissertation has as its theme the trip Mario de Andrade did in 1927 to Amazon. The focus is on his trip impressions. I look for doing a cronological and topographical accompaniment, through the constant texts in his notes present in the trip diary, afterwards, named O Turista Aprendiz, in the referrences to this trip in the letters interchanged with the friend Manuel Bandeira during this period. Besides, I bring the event accompaniment out the open, which involved the entourage, using texts of the newspapers FOLHA DO NORTE, CORREIO DO PARÁ, A CONSTITUIÇÃO, DIÁRIO DE BELÉM, O IMPARCIAL E O DIA. I establish the link between this trip and the period in which he came to Belém and the modernist movement existent in Pará, looking for contextualizing it with what happened until that moment. I also establish a link between the actual trip did by Mário de Andrade and the Fictional Trip, carried out by Abguar Bastos, when he turn Mário de Andrade in fiction in the novel Safra.
