The objective of the present dissertation work is to clarify if the inclusion process is happening in schools and how these children and adolescents are being assisted in the school inclusion process. Inclusion is a process that has numerous peculiarities and all need to be met with fairness, as provided for in current legislation, as it is noteworthy that the inclusion of students with disabilities in regular classes causes concern for the educator. Thus, it is memorable that there is concern regarding the process of inclusion and accessibility, attitudinal and architectural barriers and the way it is being implemented, as the school has the responsibility to aggregate students with disabilities and provide quality education for students. all the students. With the approval of the UFN Ethics Committee, and after signing the Informed Consent Form, managers, teachers and parents / guardians of students with physical disabilities were interviewed, as well as individual evaluations regarding functionality (FIM) and of gross motor function (GMFCS) of students. This dissertation was elaborated from a semi-structured interview applied to managers, teachers and parents / guardians of students with physical disabilities, thus generating four articles with the results of these interviews applied directly to the public involved. At the same time, parents / guardians of students of both sexes, aged from six to eighteen years old, enrolled in the municipal schools of Santa Maria / RS, were interviewed. The results of this study proved that managers and teachers are engaged in the process of school inclusion, seeking to comply with current legislation; As for parents, it can be concluded that they are satisfied with the way students are being treated in schools, including the inclusion that occurs slowly, but seeks to contemplate the process of inclusion, from the resources received. Thus, seeking to meet all the difficulties encountered for the permanence of these students with physical disabilities in regular school. Thus, the insertion of the participants is that it is the sum of learning throughout the completion of the Master, making the awakening and interest for other research in this area of school inclusion. |
