The National Humanization Policy seeks to put into practice the principles of the Unified Health System, in the context and daily life of health services, in order to support changes in the ways of managing and caring. HumanizaSUS, as the National Humanization Policy is also known, bets on the inclusion of workers, users and managers in the production and management of care and work processes. Attention to women's health must be based on the principles of humanization of care. The World Health Organization emphasizes the urgency of supporting the physical and mental health of women in the puerperal pregnancy cycle and states that in the postnatal period, that is, in the first six weeks after birth, adequate care is crucial to ensure survival. of the newborn and the mother. In the postpartum period, women are still subject to risks, and may be exposed to health problems, raising maternal mortality rates. A welcoming manual is a good strategy for the qualification of nursing care and the reduction of harm to maternal and child health. Objectives: To know the perception of postpartum women about nursing care during labor and birth. Create a welcoming manual for women in the immediate postpartum period, for nursing professionals. Method: Exploratory and descriptive research with a qualitative approach, carried out between September 2021 and November 2021, through interviews with 16 women, in the puerperal period, public service users in the municipality of Santa Maria, RS, Brazil. Data from the sociodemographic profile of the puerperal women were analyzed by means of absolute and percentage frequency, with the aid of the NVIVO software. Qualitative data underwent content analysis proposed by Bardin. In relation to the creation of the manual, the following steps were followed: literature review, creation and organization of the material and diagramming. Results: Three thematic categories emerged from the investigative process, coming from the expressions of the mothers interviewed. Previously analyzed and discussed, they were fundamental and allowed reflections that instigated the development of a user embracement manual as a trigger for the nursing process. These results pointed to the need to enhance the nursing process for women in the immediate postpartum period. Final considerations: Instructional technology, a manual for welcoming women in the immediate postpartum period, is a tool for the systematization of nursing care, which transcends the conception of implementing punctual, linear and unilateral solutions in health. The manual brings the benefits of guidance, conduct, instrumentation of welcoming actions, with the objective of qualifying professional practice, being perfectly adaptable and susceptible to replication in other care environments intended for the maternal and child population. Product and its applicability: The product is directly related to the qualification of human resources for the Unified Health System, mainly with regard to the qualification of care for the puerperium, as well as the availability of technologies for processes and pathways of action in care to the puerperium, in the context of Maternal and Child Health Care, with national and loco-regional coverage. The product has easy applicability and replicability as it is available online, being easy to access, attractive and easy to read and understand. The manual is expected to have a medium to long-term impact period. |
