Resumo: |
This research is linked to the Academic Master's Degree Program of Science and Mathematics Teaching at the Franciscan University of Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul. It is part of the line of research teaching and learning in Science and Mathematics and seeks to answer the following question: What are the contributions of the educational product 'Feed with me' for the development of healthy eating habits in young children? As specific objectives, the aim is to understand the stage of Early Childhood Education as spaces for the integral development of young children, focused on healthy eating: applying the Didatic Sequence entitled 'Feed with me' for young children in Early Childhood Education; and analyze the potential of the Didatic Sequence 'Feed with me' to mediate knowledge about healthy eating habits. The methodological processes are based on the qualitative approach, characterized as a documentary research with data obtained especially through the application of a didactic sequence together with the children in the classroom. Data collection was carried out through the analysis of documents and photographic records resulting from the teaching researcher's didactic-pedagogical action with children in kindergarten, using a didactic proposal mediated by the educational product 'Feed with me'. It was found that through the didactic-pedagogical organization and deepening of knowledge related to the field of Natural Sciences, especially here, with regard to healthy eating, the teacher can use more safely the didactic resources such as the Educational Product (EP) 'Feed with me'. Furthermore, it is highlighted that, based on this study, the aforementioned didactic artifact has the potential to work on contents arising from the Fields of Experience (FE) advocated by the National Common Curricular Base with regard, especially, to the FE body, gestures and movements, and in correlations and activities FE spaces, times, quantities, relationships and transformations, colors and shapes. Thus, it signals the potential of the EP 'Feed with me' to provide knowledge and motivation for a healthy food education to the eating routines of schoolchildren and, as far as possible, reverberating in the families of children. In the case of Early Childhood Education, it is the responsibility of the teacher to include the theme of healthy eating in the school curriculum, know how to plan the progression of knowledge, such as, for example, through Didactic Sequences, making use of playful and concrete activities for each age group and, especially, being attentive in the adequate selection of didactic resources to be used in the course of classes. |
