Resumo: In modernity the cartesian conception founded on reason and observation and an evolutionary way of thinking emerged, gave rise to the logic of globalization, which has dictated the guidelines for the propagation of an ethnocentric and colonial system. Thus, although the modern reality want uniqueness, pretend a universalization in favor of peace, existence of human rights and human dignity, occurs that this paradigm was not able to resolve all the tensions inherent in the relationships with otherness. There has been no consideration of other epistemologies beyond self entitled as universal, revealing the waste of social experience, even which there was no sustainability of life in modern liberal western mold. In this bias, appears coherent to rethink the way of conceiving the other, in order to perhaps promote a spin in the way of conceiving the South, undressing from arrogance and clouding caused by the rationalization of everything and learn that it exists and, then, learn from south from the "let flourish" the potential to hear him speak, when the sumak kawsay can be the instrument to do so.
