Resumo: | This research aims to investigate the smallpox epidemic that occurred in 1867 in Cuiabá and neighboring locations and its consequences for the population that lived the context of the disease to investigate and analyze behaviors and survival strategies of some women in the city of Cuiabá after the epidemic . The work was developed in the Line of Research Historical Narratives: Production and Dissemination. The methodology used was qualitative and bibliographical research. In order to answer the questions initially raised in this research, I used the post-epidemic inventories of the Notary of the 5th Office of Cuiabá. from the private network can use them, and for that purpose a booklet entitled: The smallpox epidemic in Cuiabá: transdisciplinary pedagogical itinerary was developed. The master's degree in History Teaching gives us the opportunity to contribute to the teaching of History in the classroom, seeking to help teachers who work in Basic Education. Still thinking about valuing regional and local history, the objective is also to bring students, helping them to understand themselves as historical subjects, who are part of the construction of history. |
