Resumo: | The Internet is not just a source of information or an addition to traditional media. This is the "Cyberculture" highlighted by Pierre Levy, it integrates the fundamental mutation of contemporary cultural own. Its diffusion has drastically affected the way we experience the scientific knowledge. In cyberculture, science takes the form of a universal discourse without totality, it is an open, paradoxical action, no place or clearly definable time taken by each individual to a virtual reaffirmation of human unity through constant diversity of meanings. However, the internet is more than that. It is configured as a means by which provides a variety of tools that could add new relations within the school, in the sense that surfing the internet would provide relationships that go beyond the propositional apprehension of the world. Our research is devoted to discuss the effects of this reality on historical knowledge. We selected as a theme the universe of information created on the Internet around the Medieval Inquisition. The material selected for the analysis consists of virtualization vehicles participation in the management of knowledge, such as blogs, foruns, websites, virtual communities, etc. In order to analyze how the Internet will change the practice of research marking their differences in the production of knowledge, did the use of questionnaires answered by students from a public school to quantify and qualify the effective use of this new universe. Thus, our thoughts are guided by the hypothesis that an intense appreciation of the current thinking the story takes place by means of a weakening of traditionally academic references authorization and legitimization of historical thinking. |
