Resumo: | ABSTRACT: This thesis seeks to answer questions that were formulated in the researcher's contact with adolescent women in foster care, due to violence experienced in the family context, in Mato Grosso. From this approach, the research aimed to understand the social logics linked to the maintenance of the rape culture in Mato Grosso and the silencing of women against whom violence was committed. In order to do so, the theoretical reflections of María C. Lugones, Elizabeth V. Spelman, Sayak Valencia Triana and Rita Laura Segato were used as an aid in the debate on themes that cross this text, such as rape culture, bloody rape and spectacularization. of violence. The research method chosen was the narrative research with multiple sources, since it makes it possible to access how the stories are narrated without disregarding the social context in which they are elaborated. In this way, the research consists of the presentation of three narratives: the experience of adolescents, the fictional narratives of reports on sexual violence/rape collected during the clinical experience and the news in local newspapers about sexual violence and rape. As sources for the composition of this research, the reports of adolescent women aged 12 to 18 years in a shelter situation due to violence experienced in the family context in Mato Grosso, sheltered by the State in a Shelter Home, news published in newspapers were also used. sites – Diário de Cuiabá and A Gazeta –, between 2017 and 2019, which dealt with the topic, in addition to field notes produced during visits to the Casa de Acolhimento and fictional narratives constructed from fragments of several clinical cases. In this way, it was possible to understand the nuances of structuring and maintaining the culture of rape from the narratives of adolescents and clinical cases, pointing to the naturalization of social roles of gender and violence as a form of expression of masculinity, as well as silencing as a strategy for perpetuating gender hierarchies. It was also identified in the media discourse an erasure of the characters from the scene of sexual violence, at the same time that it points to an exacerbation of the horror and power of the violent man. |
