Resumo: This research in master's level, deals with the subject: the space of black female police officer in the professional sectors of the Military Police of the State of Mato Grosso, a study on concepts, experiences, knowledge and use of space of the black female officer while it conquers the institution. It aims to analyse the use of space of black female police officer in the professional sectors of the military police. The research also aims to know the characteristics of female police officers of the corporation and its historicity; understand the performance of female police officers in public security activities; learn how the black woman and military police are perceived in the areas of institution and if there are overtones of racial and discriminatory practice in the occupation of these spaces. The chosen methodology is the qualitative approach, with the data collection techniques: semi structured interviews, questionnaire, participant observation and document analysis. The research presents data extracted from document reviews, interviews applied with fifteen female military police of three police units, two in the city of Cuiaba-MT and one in Várzea Grande-MT and observations in the administrative and operating environments. From the analysis of the speeches and comments in the occupation of professional spaces by black police officers, racial prejudice and discrimination characteristics are evident.
