Revisão taxonômica das espécies sul-americanas de Rhineilipus Kuschel, 1955 (Curculionidae, Molytinae)

The species of the Genus Rhineilipus Kuschel, 1955 are revised. The external morphology of genitalia of adults males and female and associated sclerites (eighth abdominal tergite and eighth abdominal sternite) are redescribed, described and discussed for the following species: R. bifurcatus (Hustache, 1938) with the first record in Brazil; R. cuvieri (Boheman, 1843); R. prodigialis (Germar, 1824) (type-species of the Genus); R. troglodytes (Boheman, 1836), and R. urosus (Boheman, 1843). Two new species are described of Rhineilipus: R. sp. nov. 1 and R. sp. nov. 2 from the Brazilian and Peruvian Amazon region, respectively. The species Rhineilipus gyllenhalii (Guérin, 1844) was revalidated, R. nigropunctatus (Rheinheimer, 2010) and R. intensus (Pascoe, 1881) are transcribed. Among our results, we also presented new geographic records for the Brazilian territory, diagnostic key and distribution maps.
