Resumo: From a field research that mixes social network’s interaction’s analyses and interviews, this research tries to understand “co-parenting” - a kind of kinship in which people get together to have children without the necessity of being in a love relationship or even in an affair – in the brazilian context nowadays. By means of data, I propose a reflexion about the concept’s polish made in the online interactions and in the families’ day by day, about how this king of kinship is seen by those who live it and also the others, who are around, and about which are the motivations to try and to have children by this way. The research also tries to unravel the relation between co-pareting, gender and sexuality, trying to see in what way the concepts relate to one another. Faced with one kind of relationship that is effervescent on media and social network, we tried to understand co-parenting by the parents’ eyes, their motivations to look for this kind of kinship and the way that they live and, at the same time, polish this concept.
