Resumo:	The purpose of this study is to investigate the educational proposal of Aristotle and its purpose from the Nicomachean Ethics and Politics works. Supported in the first work, we find the principles for the formation of character. In Politics we find the structure of the Aristotelian educational process. We understand that Aristotle's educational conceptions are directly linked to the action of the legislator and intrinsically related to ethics and politics in order to promote the means to achieve excellence and thus make the city eudaimonic.
