Resumo: Upon being elevated to the throne of the CastilianLeonean kingdom, the monarch Alfonso X (12521284) found himself imbued not only with the duty to operationalize the manorial consolidation of the regions recently acquired by his father, Fernando III (12171252), but, as well as perpetuating the expansion of the CastilianLeonese landlords within the Andalusian Betica. Concern about warlike affairs thus became a constant tonic in Alfonsino thought, since it was aware that, in order to maintain and extend the lords of the kingdom, special attention should be paid to military structures, because these are the devices that made possible the expansion and consolidation of the CastilianLeonese landlords. Taking these issues into account, in our thesis, we analyze the nature of the manorial warlike rationality put into effect during the reign of Alfonso X (12521284) in his plan of consolidation and manorial expansion of the Castilian-Leonese kingdom. To this end, we scrutinized from the natures of the wars destined to achieve the consolidation and expansion of Castilian-Leonese landlords in Betician Andalusia, passing through the subsequent processes of divisions and landlord concessions operated in the midst of negotiation relations, until, at the end, the contemplation of the legal instruments used in order to consolidate the Castilian-Leonese landlords and also to strengthen the monarchical jurisdiction against the jurisdictions that made up the political body of the kingdom.
