Resumo: | Mato Grosso is one of the brazilian states that presents the highest number of crimes committed against LGBTQ +. At the Mato Grosso State Department of Education (SEDUCMT) there is the Superintendence of Educational Diversities which is reponsible for preparing pedagogical guidelines and work plans with actions that ensure the inclusion of content related to this subject in the teachers' plans. So, aiming to understand the context of these policies elaboration and how they are covered at school space, this research uses as main framework the theoretical triad of critical-social research: Critical Discourse Analysis (CHOULIARAKI; FAIRCLOUGH, 1999; FAIRCLOUGH, 2003), Systemic Functional Linguistics (HALLIDAY, 1985; 1994; HALLIDAY; MATTHIESSEN, 2004) and Critical Realism (BHASKAR, 1986; 1998). Thus, a conjuncture analysis is proposed to understand the institutional and organizational circumstances surrounding the production and reception of the Curricular Guidelines: educational diversities (2012) — hereafter OCDE — and Diversity Convoy (2015-2018). In a textual level, the analysis itself is centered in the OCDE — throught the Intertextuality category of the actional meaning of discourse — and in the statements made by the diversity supervisor of this institution and by the instructors from CEFAPROS, this being done through the analytical category Interdiscursivity of the representational meaning of discourse. The analysis results pointed out that the work performed by SEDUC related to diversity were more effective only around Cuiaba region, since the institution did not provide resources for the Convoy to be held in cities farther from the capital. Besides, it was observed that schools rarely discuss gender and sexuality issues and/or receive education from CEFAPRO on the subject. Despite the current setback scenario, it is crucial that gender and sexual diversity subjects are not silenced in the school environment, because even in these dark times the hope for a better future for LGBTQ + people should be an incentive for struggle acts and resistance continue to exist. |
