Resumo: |
Cartography is a fundamental technique, science and art in the teaching of Geography, with its applications of geoinformation and its pedagogical practices with various cartographic languages applied to the contents of geographic science. Thus, the educator must teach it to students respecting the time of each student in the teaching and learning process for reading and understanding the spatial reality. In the present work, we investigate how Cartography works in the contents of Geography in face-to-face classes and also in remote activities during the coronavirus pandemic not yet controlled worldwide and also in the country, by teachers of basic education at Escola Municipal Joaquim Marques de Souza e at Bom Jesus State School, in the municipality of Três Lagoas, besieged in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. The methodologies applied were the bibliographic survey, which served as a theoretical basis for the proposal in question, plus fieldwork, in addition to procedures such as (direct observation, information obtained informally and application of forms). In this research, tabulation and analysis of collected data were performed. The work generated pedagogical proposals for the Geography contents in the mentioned schools and also in the Rural Municipal School in the São Joaquim Settlement in Selviria-MS. However, we carried out a didactic sequence proposed and applied in an activity with the use of cartographic language as a teaching tool for basic education at the Dr. Augusto Mariani State School in Andradina-SP, in collaboration with the teaching and learning process for students become readers/mappers of geographic space.
