The present work seeks to understand how the constitution of the subject for psychoanalysis takes place, and in this interface it seeks to understand the black subject. The psychosocial place in which the black person is inserted in Brazil has psychic effects on their constitution as a subject. The hypothesis of this research is that the phenomenon of structural racism has consequences not only on the sociological plane, but also on the psychic plane in the constitution of the black person as a subject. It is proposed to think that structural racism contributes to the existence of a social non-place and that this has effects on the constitution of the black subject. To understand these objectives, a bibliographic research will be carried out with a careful review of texts on structural racism, taking Silvio de Almeida as the main author on the subject, as well as psychoanalytic texts, using Sigmund Freud as the main theoretical reference, and complementary literature by Jacques Lacan to generally understand the subject in psychoanalysis.
