Resumo: |
The instrument by which democracy is formalized at work is the exercise of citizenship, which takes place mainly, participation of workers in various aspects of the employment relationship, whether in the decision-making of the company or in the claim of better working conditions. Considering that forms of participation can be achieved by collective bargaining, especially those that are not fully instituted as a legal obligation, the figure of the union presents itself as indispensable for the conquest of these rights, but it is also possible to negotiate individual rights through the committees of workers. Both entities, therefore, should direct their objectives in order to maintain their always complementary actions, in search of achievements for the category represented. Therefore, this joint action must take care that none nullify the importance of the other and should always be prioritized. The aim of this research, then, is to analyze the patterns of negotiation by the participation of workers and assess whether trade unions recognise the importance of company commissions and exercise their negotiating power in favor of ensuring their participation in the work environment. To this end, collective agreements and labor agreements on union participation in the company will be analyzed, trade union delegates, representation of workers and participation of workers in the management and profits and results, registered in Mato Grosso do Sul, from 2015 to 2020. Through bibliographic and documentary research, with a qualitative-quantitative approach, it is expected with this research to find how the relationship of these two social actors for the representation of the south-mato-grossense worker takes place, as well as demonstrate the importance of their union and need to always keep this theme under discussion in society. Although the negotiation found indicates some advances in the participation of workers, much has yet to be made towards the effective democratization of the employment relationship. |
