Resumo: |
The energy market is going through transformations due to increased demand, availability of technologies and a new energy transition agenda. The versatility of natural gas makes it a potential competitor to almost all other alternative fuels. However, ensuring an efficient investment is a challenge within the natural gas chain, as it depends on multiple variables in the economic, operational and regulatory spheres, and has become socioeconomically essential, where such fuel is the pillar of support for a prosperous environment. in the fossil fuel disjuncture. In Brazil, for the consumption of natural gas to emerge, a competitive price is essential for the final consumer, which reflects prudent investments by all players in the value chain, especially natural gas distributors. There are few works that focus on the planning of expansions of natural gas distribution networks, especially regarding the coverage of multiple factors. In order to meet all stakeholder interests, support and improve the decision-making process of natural gas distribution companies, this work presents a case study with multi-criteria modeling of a central decision problem, which is the determination of the portfolio of expansion projects and proposes the development of a Multicriteria Decision System integrated with geographic information. To this end, we used the Multicriteria Decision Making/Aid (MCDM/A) approach of the FITradeoff method with the project portfolio approach, which considers the cost-benefit ratio of each potential project for expansion, in line with the various strategic objectives of a Brazilian company. At the end of the study, the standardization of a new decision-making process was designed from the integration between the functions of MCDM/A and the geographic functions of a Geographic Information System (GIS), in addition to the specification of the architecture of a Support System for Multicriteria Spatial Decision (MC-SDSS), which contributes to the structuring, dynamics, synergy and robustness in determining the decision-making of the distribution company. |
