Current climate change is an urgent and complex issue marked by rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and shifts in meteorological patterns, primarily driven by the increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases. The analysis involves experts, organizations like the IPCC, and collaborative efforts to understand the causes and impacts of global climate change. The consequences of these alterations affect ecosystems, biodiversity, agriculture, and communities, exacerbating existing inequalities. The role of the IPCC is crucial, providing essential information and guiding policies to mitigate the rise in global temperatures. In the Brazilian context, the country is making progress in sustainable policies, but challenges persist, requiring effective implementations and international cooperation. In essence, detailed understanding and global collaboration are essential to address this threat and build a more sustainable and equitable future.
